Changi to increase airport fees from July 1
SINGAPORE: Changi Airport Group (CAG) will be revising aeronautical fees for both passengers and airlines to fund part of the Changi East development as well as the upgrading and refurbishment of existing terminal infrastructure and security facilities.

In a statement today, it said, the Passenger Service and Security Fee (PSSF) for all origin/ destination passengers departing from Singapore Changi Airport would increase by S$2.50 per annum from July 1, 2018 from the current S$27.90.
It said for the first year, the new PSSF rate of S$30.40 would apply to all air tickets issued from July 1, 2018 for travel until March 31, 2019.
Subsequently, the PSSF would be adjusted annually on April 1 by S$2.50 over the next six years, with the last increase on April 1, 2024, it said.
CAG said there would be no changes in the PSSF levied on transfer/ transit passengers, who had been paying S$6.00 upon departure from Changi Airport.
Meanwhile, the landing, parking and aerobridge (LPA) fees, applicable to all flights at Changi Airport, would also increase by one per cent on July 1, 2018, it said.
It said the LPA fees would continue to increase by one per cent annually on April 1 over the next six years, with the last increase on April 1, 2024, to be followed by a review.
