Singaporean teenagers assisting in police investigations after clip showing young girl being bullied goes viral
SINGAPORE: Seven teenagers are assisting in police investigations after a police report was filed over the alleged bullying of a young girl.
A video posted online shows two girls in blue squatting in a corridor, talking to a girl in black who is seated.
Suddenly, the girl on the right slaps the girl in black, and the girl on the left, who appears to be wearing a shirt that says "Dunman Sec", joins in.
Shin Min Daily News said in a report on Wednesday that the incident occurred on Feb 15.
It said the victim was a 15-year-old girl, who made a police report after the clip went viral earlier this week. The video was posted on the SINK - Singapore Ink Facebook page, but the page has since made it unavailable to the public.
The police confirmed with The Straits Times that a report was lodged and said that seven teenagers aged between 15 and 19 are assisting with investigations.
They include five girls and two boys. It is unclear which schools they are from. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
