Cracks and depressions on Lornie Road cause traffic chaos
Two lanes of Lornie Road southbound towards Farrer Road were closed Friday morning (1 June) as cracks had appeared across them during the morning rush hour.
Photos shared on social media show depressions forming in the road, leaving just part of the busy road passable to traffic.
According to media reports, the Land Transport Authority is investigating the cause of the problem. It had earlier tweeted about an “obstacle” on Adam Road but did not specify the problem (Lornie Road continues south to become Adam Road).
