Certis Cisco officer accidentally fires gun at Changi Airport; no injuries reported

An auxiliary police officer fired a gun accidentally at Changi Airport on Friday morning (15 September).

The incident occurred at 5.45am in a restricted staff-only rest area outside of Changi Airport’s perimeter fence, away from passenger terminals, said a Certis Cisco spokesperson. No one was injured.

Police said they were alerted to an accidental discharge of a firearm at 6.09am. Certis Cisco is helping police with investigations.
