National Gallery Singapore set to unleash blockbuster exhibition

National Gallery Singapore’s upcoming blockbuster exhibition Century Of Light will feature masterpieces from the 19th century, including famous works by French artists Claude Monet and Auguste Renoir.

Consisting of two parts, the exhibition offers visitors the rare opportunity to see masterpieces from leading European and American museums that have not been shown in the region before, along with major paintings from South-East Asian collections.

The first section, Colours Of Impressionism: Masterpieces From The Musee d’Orsay, traces the emergence of modernism in Europe through major Impressionist works from the collection of one of Europe’s leading art museums, the Musee d’Orsay in Paris.
