Man, 69, arrested for allegedly molesting another man

A 69-year old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of molest.

On the evening of 26 September, a man reported to the police that he had been molested by another man at the void deck of Blk 175 Toa Payoh Central, said a statement from the Singapore Police Force.

The suspect was arrested on 27 September along Toa Payoh Lorong 4.

The suspect is believed to be involved in a similar incident reported at Toa Payoh Central in April 2016.

Investigations are ongoing.

The maximum punishment for outrage of modesty is a jail term of up to two years, or with caning.
