Man's body found in water near Sengkang Riverside Park
The body of a 25-year-old man was found in the waters near Sengkang Riverside Park on Friday morning (29 Sept).
The body was found in the water near the park and the area was cordoned off by the police. Joggers in the area were turned away, said media reports.
The Singapore Police Force said it was alerted to a case of unnatural death at Sengkang River Park at 6.47am.
“A 25-year-old man was found motionless in the waters of the said location and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene,” said the police.
Yahoo News Singapore understands that the body was retrieved from the water by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
